United Cajun Navy Weather Watch Privacy Policy

United Cajun Navy (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and this Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information through the United Cajun Navy Weather Watch mobile application (“Application”).
By downloading, accessing, or using the Application, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Regardless of where you live, you agree that your information may be transferred, stored, and processed in the United States or other locations where we operate.

We retain this information only as long as needed. Specifically:
Only your most recent location and device ID are stored when notifications are enabled
Support-related communications, such as emails and bug reports, may be retained as needed
Location Information
If you grant permission, Weather Watch may access your current location to provide localized forecasts and alerts. This may involve GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and cell tower data.
Location data is only used to display weather information and send notifications.
If notifications are disabled, your location is not stored on our servers.
Location data may be shared with our weather data provider, Baron Weather Systems, to generate forecasts.
If using a version of the Application that includes ads, location data may also support local advertising.
We never share your location information with third parties except as required by law or to protect our rights.
Sharing Information
The Application may allow you to share weather forecasts and locations via iMessage or social media (e.g., Facebook, Twitter). This sharing is initiated only by you. We do not automatically share your information with any third parties. Please review the privacy policies of social platforms before sharing information.
Third-Party Processors
We use Baron Weather Systems and other third-party service providers to deliver weather and radar data. These providers may collect or process data such as IP addresses and location information. Please review their privacy policies for details.
Advertising
If you use a version of the Application that includes advertising, we may use the information described above to make ads more relevant or to measure effectiveness. Location data may be used to support localized advertising, such as displaying nearby businesses.
Aggregated and Anonymous Data

Website Visitors
When you visit our website, we automatically collect standard log information such as IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. This information helps us analyze trends, administer the site, and improve services.
